The Notebook Project
Sometimes you need to play, just because. It was very late. I ran out of painting paper. I started to play with my paints on my notebook paper. I love yellow notebooks. And so ... it is The Notebook Project. -

The Unfinished Life of a Painting
It is late at night. I cannot sleep. Music is on. For the past few days I have been wanting to share the stages of this painting for some odd reason... It is the last one I recently worked on. It is not finished. But, I have plans for it ;) For now, it is against my red wall, waiting for the last details I have not finished. -

Update: Solo Art Exhibition
I genuinely wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to see my art show, "Impulse" at ArtWorks. What meant the world to me were the kind comments that folks shared in my guest book. Some comments from the guest book: "Beautiful, Soft - Well Done!" "I loved looking at your work." "FANTASTIC WORK!!" .... More.... -
From Hawaii
This was my most favorite place in Hawaii this year. On a lush winding road filled with greenery, with looming mountains on one side of the car and amazing ocean to the other side, this silent beach was empty on this overcast day. I loved the way the mountains cascaded in the background facing a most amazing view of dusk over the water. http://twitter.com/pipernichole. -
Manhattan
While I was in New York visiting recently, I walked 33 blocks to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I passed Time Square, I passed Radio City, businesses, I wandered thru Central Park (had lunch under a tree), detoured in the art gallery in the park, passed the Frick Collection, passed a Trump building, and finally arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I think everyone should take a break from their life sometimes. It's healthy. Plus, new adventures add a little color to the everyday. It makes you see things a little differently. And, you also end up appreciating your life a little more, too. Click the picture or headline to see pictures from my trip at the MET. -
