Somewhere in Hawaii
This was my most favorite place in Hawaii, I don't even know its name. On a lush winding road filled with greenery, with looming mountains on one side of the car and amazing ocean to the other side, this silent beach was empty on this overcast day. I loved the way the mountains cascaded in the background facing a most amazing view of dusk over the water. While I didn't play on the computer much during this trip (haha), I did twitter some about it (hahaha!) at http://twitter.com/pipernichole.

Somewhere in Hawaii - Another Angle
See the above picture. When you turn around, it is mountains and a few houses speckling the landscape facing this amazing view. LUCKIES. The clouds hovering over the top.

More of my favorite beach
You can circle Hawaii in a day, except for the moments you get sidetracked and visit the beaches. Waikiki very beautiful at night. There are very upscale shopping stores (I window-shopped, haha) and restaurants, it has the bustle of a major city on an island. But, Waikiki's beach is perhaps most breathtaking in the evening, the way the hotel lights and moonlight hit the water giving it a deep teal glisten as it fades into darkness, and the therapeautic sound of waves crashing against the shore, and hardly anyone crowding the beach at night.

Alamoana
What is funny is Alamoana in Hawaii is like telling your friend you are going to the mall. A gorgeous place that is just the usual place. It's funny what people in different places take for granted.

Pali Lookout
Pali Lookout has an amazing view of mountains and the island. But on the days when it is cloudy you can't see anything at all, not the steep decline of mountain or anything, just one foggy cloud that covers everything. This was one of those days. It is an incredibly windy spot, too.

Northshore
My pictures of the North Shore don't do it justice at all! These beaches are AMAZING.
